Arm remainder repair kit

I'm looking to buy a repair kit for the rider side door handle on my 78Z.
Has anyone used one of these kits before and exercise they work? its the insert one with the 2 screws for the front end fastening point of the handle.
Any help appreciated

I used a kit from Canadian Tire dorsum in 80'due south. You lot should list a pic of what your talking near cause mine was probably before you were born.

At that place was a style with a metal insert/spiral and there is likewise a mode which replaces the forwards handle portion of the armrest.
Brand sure the screw hole in the door panel is tight.
It seems similar when the screw gets wobbly, the flex causes the screw head to printing unevenly against the handle and causes it to crack.

The brusque screw holds the sleeve to door pull. Its not long plenty to pop through any where. Just enough to concur it in identify. Has lasted through both of my boys pulling on it. The last place I saw them was camaro central. Ecklers used to have them. Dont know near them anymore.
